Boyle's Law describes the fundamental relationship between pressure and volume of an ideal gas at constant temperature. For a given mass of gas, pressure and volume are inversely proportional - when one increases, the other decreases by the same factor. This law forms the basis for understanding gas behavior and is one of the fundamental gas laws that combine to form the ideal gas law (PV = nRT).
