Our Privacy Promise

Qalc AI is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe in transparency and minimal data collection.

No Sign-In Required

Use all features of Qalc AI without creating an account. It runs completely in guest mode.

No Personal Data Stored

We do not store your conversion queries or any personal information on our servers.

AI Processing

Queries sent to AI models for parsing and explanation are processed according to Google's AI service terms. We do not associate these queries with any personal identifiers.

What We Actually Collect

We try to collect as little as possible. Here is the plain English version of what happens when you use our site:

  • Browser Information: Like almost every website, we see basic info your browser sends, like which browser you are using and your screen size. This helps us make the site look good on your device.
  • Anonymous ID (ThumbmarkJS): We generate a random, anonymous identifier for your device. We use this ONLY to count your daily free AI requests. This ensures fair usage for everyone without needing logins. We don't know who you are, just that "Device X" has used 5 requests today.
  • Local Storage: We save your preferences (like "Dark Mode") right on your device. This data never leaves your computer.

How We Use Data

We strictly use the anonymous data mentioned above to:

  • Make sure the website works contentiously.
  • Prevent abuse of our AI servers (so one person doesn't use up all the processing power).
  • Show advertisements through partners (we use Appodeal mediation on properties where ads are enabled, which helps keep offerings free).

We do NOT sell your personal data to anyone. We don't even have your personal data to begin with.

Third Party Services

We use a few trusted partners to keep the site running:

  • Google Gemini: Our AI engine. They process your text queries to give you answers.
  • Cloudflare: They host our website and help it load fast securely.
  • Appodeal: Where we display ads, we may use Appodeal for mediation. Appodeal and partner ad networks may process data such as IP address, device and browser characteristics, and advertising identifiers as described in Appodeal's Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we obtain consent for personal data processing for ads.

Privacy Policy for PlayHub Mobile Application

This section applies to the PlayHub mobile application ("the App"). The full policy is also published here.

1. Advertising (Appodeal)

The App uses Appodeal for ad mediation. Appodeal and partner networks may process identifiers, device data, usage related to ads, and similar information as described in Appodeal's Privacy Policy. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we use a consent flow where required.

2. Local Gameplay Data

Progress and preferences may be stored on your device; we do not require an account for core offline play.

3. Opt-Out

You can limit personalized ads in your device settings and review partner opt-outs in Appodeal's policy.
