Overview

The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) is a validated tool for patients to measure their disease activity. It consists of six questions regarding fatigue, spinal pain, joint pain, enthesitis (localized tenderness), and morning stiffness. A score of 4 or greater typically indicates active disease.
