SAPS II (Simplified Acute Physiology Score II) is one of several scoring systems used to predict the mortality of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It is calculated based on data from the first 24 hours of ICU admission and is used to risk-stratify patients and normalize results across clinical trials.
