1. Introduction

Welcome to Shamir Safe ("the App"). This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the App, including advertising through Appodeal and your rights. We aim to be transparent and to meet the expectations of app stores and privacy laws.

2. Data You Enter in the App

  • Local processing: Secrets, shares, and parameters you use for splitting or combining are processed on your device for core functionality. We do not operate a login system inside the App and do not require you to upload those materials to our servers to use the tool.
  • Your responsibility: You choose how you store or transmit any shares outside the App. Protect shares like any sensitive credential.

3. Advertising & Appodeal (Mediation)

To support a free App, we integrate the Appodeal advertising mediation platform (SDK). Appodeal and the demand partners that deliver ads through mediation may collect and process data as described in Appodeal's Privacy Policy. Under applicable law you must be informed that such collection can occur when you use the App.

  • Categories of data: This may include, among others, IP address, mobile advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where available), device and app characteristics, general location (e.g. country or region), app usage signals related to ads (e.g. impressions and interactions), and data used for fraud prevention, analytics, and ad delivery.
  • Partner networks: Ads may be filled by third-party networks (for example Google AdMob and others reachable through Appodeal). Those partners have their own privacy notices and may process data as independent controllers or processors according to their policies.
  • Consent & choices: Where required (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we use a consent management approach consistent with industry standards (such as the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework where applicable). You can review or change your choices in the App's settings and through your device's privacy controls for advertising.
  • Legal basis: For personalized advertising where the law requires consent, we rely on your consent obtained through that flow; for strictly necessary operations (such as security or non‑personalized ad delivery where permitted), we rely on legitimate interests or other bases as allowed by law.

4. Data Deletion & User Rights

We do not maintain user accounts in the App. Advertising-related data is controlled largely by Appodeal and partner networks.

  • Device controls: Reset your advertising ID or enable limited ad tracking in your device settings (Android: Google Ads settings; iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
  • Requests: For privacy requests about data processed through Appodeal, you may also follow the procedures described in Appodeal's policy. For anything specific to our role as publisher, contact us via the feedback options on the Qalc.ai website; we will respond within a reasonable time.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required for personalized ads in your region. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided information in violation of this policy, please contact us via Qalc.ai.

6. International Transfers

Appodeal and ad partners may process data in countries outside your own. Their processing is governed by their policies and appropriate safeguards where required by law.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top will change when we do; continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where allowed by law.
