Frequency and wavelength are inversely proportional for electromagnetic waves. Their product equals the speed of light (c = f × λ). Different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum have vastly different frequencies and wavelengths, from radio waves kilometers long to gamma rays smaller than atoms.
